Interventional Cardiologist

Are you a board-certified interventional cardiologist (IC) with a few years of experience under your belt? Do you want to get out of the big city but still practice state-of-the-art interventional cardiology? Are you interested in helping us grow a high-caliber interventional cardiology program here in the mountains of western NC?

Join two interventional cardiologists here in Hendersonville, NC. The foundation began when we opened for STEMI in early 2021. In the past year our cath and interventional volume have grown by 164% (in one lab), our office new patient referrals have grown 300% and our noninvasive testing volumes have similarly expanded. We are on schedule to perform 2000 cath cases this calendar year. Additionally, a new cath lab is slated to open in December 2023. And we hope to open at least two more labs in the next few years, including space for a hybrid lab. Within the next five years, we hope to add EP, structural and an open-heart program. Our hospital service is also supported by our experienced nurse practitioner.

We currently have five non-invasive partners and one APP seeing patients in our home office on the campus of Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville. We are scheduled to open two new satellite offices in late 2023 which will be staffed by our noninvasive partners. Our office in Brevard, NC will provide consultative and noninvasive testing to our western neighbors in Transylvania County. The office nearby in Arden, NC will provide similar consultative and testing services to the citizens of northern Henderson and south Buncombe counties.

A word about peripheral. We know that many IC providers are trained and experienced in providing peripheral endovascular procedures. There is currently not an opportunity for IC to perform peripheral procedures as we have two great vascular surgeons in our office who provide all levels of endovascular intervention in their own lab. We are focused on coronary intervention, developing our structural offerings and advancing to OHS in the near future.

The volume is here. The community supports and motivates our efforts. We have the skills. We need you to help. If you’re interested, give us a call. We would love to have the opportunity to discuss these things and many more.

Hendersonville is a great small city to live and raise your family. Enjoy all the amenities of the area: great restaurants, family-friendly neighborhoods, world-class outdoor activities, fly-fishing capital of the east, and an internationally recognized music camp in Brevard, to name a few, and Asheville is just a short drive away.
