Pardee is now designated for 24/7 STEMI and a PCI-receiving hospital, so we have the resources and expertise to provide round-the-clock interventional cardiology coverage for Henderson, Transylvania, and Polk County residents. When a heart attack occurs, you will be transported to and treated at a hospital close to home. We believe that this can mean better outcomes and healthier patients.

Pardee has implemented a new type of laboratory test to check a certain enzyme in a patient's blood for those experiencing symptoms of chest pain. This test, called High Sensitivity Troponin-I, is more sensitive than previous testing available and also provides test results more quickly. Pardee is proud to be one of the first in the UNC Health system to take this progressive step to enhance patient care.
