Cancer Support & Survivorship

At Pardee Cancer Center, we understand that life after a cancer diagnosis requires extra support, care and vigilance. So, we’ve developed support and survivorship programs aimed at helping you overcome the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and nutritional challenges you may face during and after your treatment, as a cancer survivor.

Pardee Cancer Center and our cancer care navigators host special events for cancer survivors and their families each year. We also offer support groups to help cancer survivors with their healing and recovery process, their long-term wellness and disease prevention and their relationships with others.

Cancer Survivor and Caregiver Support Group

Dealing with the emotions that a cancer diagnosis brings can be overwhelming. The Between Friends at Pardee support group allows you time to speak freely in a supportive setting. This group is open to any person who has been diagnosed with cancer and their support person/caregiver.

Typically a speaker will join the group to talk to us about a particular topic on cancer-related issues or treatments, introductions to local resources or intro to a different program, which is followed by a group discussion. Check out our events calendar to see the full schedule and get information on how you can participate.

Cancer Transitions Workshop Series

Cancer Transitions is a free, 90-minute, four-week workshop series that is designed to help cancer survivors transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Our goal is to support, educate, and empower as survivors transition into the next phase of life. For more information about this ongoing series and its schedule, please visit our Classes and Events calendar.
