UNC Health Pardee Announces Three New Board Members and Executive Committee
UNC Health Pardee has announced Amy Brantley, Greg Burnette and Will Bryant as the newest members of its 15-person board of directors. The three new members began their terms in July and will serve for three years through 2027.
Amy Brantley brings her experience in public administration as the Assistant County Manager of Henderson County and has worked with Henderson County since 1999. Her involvement in local government associations and her recent achievement, the North Carolina Local Government Budget Association - Jack Vogt Lifetime Achievement Award, highlights her commitment to public service and excellence.
Greg Burnette, a regional executive with First Citizens Bank, has over 30 years of banking industry experience. Since 2004 he has served as area executive and has had overall leadership responsibility for the bank's operations in 12 counties across Western North Carolina. Mr. Burette serves on numerous local boards including the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, YMCA of WNC, and the UNC-Asheville Foundation.
Will Bryant serves as Chief Financial Officer of UNC Health and is responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization. As CFO, he provides leadership and oversight to UNC Health’s 15 hospitals, 19 campuses, and 900 clinics across North Carolina, and leads the organization’s operational finance, financial planning, revenue cycle management, accounting, treasury, government reimbursement, and payor relations functions. Bryant received a Business Management degree from North Carolina State University and completed his master’s in business at UNC Chapel Hill.
The board also elected a new executive committee, naming Debbie Bell as board chair, Marilyn Gordon as vice chair, Dr. Bob Bryant as secretary, and Hall Waddell as treasurer. Tammy Albrecht, Vivian Bolanos, and Jimmy Chandler are rolling off the Board, and UNC Health Pardee extends its gratitude for their dedicated service. UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit community healthcare organization and is managed by UNC Health. The hospital, founded in 1953, is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
