Erika Araiza Named Teammate of the Year for UNC Health Pardee
UNC Health Pardee is pleased to announce Erika Araiza has been named Teammate of the Year for 2023. Araiza, who works as the manager of the environmental services department at Pardee, was honored at Pardee’s annual Service Appreciation and Recognition Banquet on Sept. 24, 2024.
Erika, who has been with Pardee for 16 years, began her career as an environmental services aide and has been continually promoted through the department, working her way into a management role. Her job is to ensure Pardee Hospital provides a clean and safe environment, to help grow her team, and to provide the resources they need to be the best at what they do. “I am part of this wonderful team and their compassion and passion do not go unnoticed,” Erika said. “I am humbled to receive this award and proud of myself and my team that helps me grow and become a better person and leader.”

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit community healthcare organization and is managed by UNC Health. The hospital, founded in 1953, is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
