Pardee Home Health Recognized with National Patient Satisfaction Award
For the second consecutive year, Pardee Home Health has been recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) as a “Superior Performer” for achieving an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients for the 2022 calendar year.
The SHPBest award program acknowledges home health agencies that consistently provide high-quality service to their patients. The 2022 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 5,000 home health providers. With the largest Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) benchmark in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.
“There are many facets of the care of a home health patient and at Pardee Home Health, we focus on the well-being of the patient as a whole,” explained Rachel Forbes-Harvin, director, Pardee Home Health. “Our clinicians are compassionate, respectful and courteous to our patients during a very stressful time.” She shared that teammates spend extra time educating patients on their medications and safety in their homes while communicating findings to the patient’s medical provider. Because of this approach and the education provided to patients, Forbes-Harvin emphasized that their patients have fewer emergency department visits, lower re-hospitalizations and decreased caregiver burnout.
