Jennifer Hayes Named Teammate of the Year for UNC Health Pardee
UNC Health Pardee is pleased to announce Jennifer Hayes has been named Teammate of the Year for 2022. Hayes, who works in team member experience in the human resources department at Pardee, was honored at the annual Teammate Service Appreciation and Recognition Banquet on Sept. 19, 2023. 
Hayes has been with Pardee for 11 years working in patient registration before moving into her current position with human resources. In her role, she plans activities that build culture and morale, heading up the Pardee Pep Squad. “I believe that by recognizing and supporting our teammates we promote a healthy workplace culture where people will want to work,” Hayes said. “I think there is a relationship between the well-being and happiness of teammates and patient care. Happy teammates make for healthy patients.”
Her colleagues shared that, "Jennifer is a great leader and has restored enthusiasm to the Pardee Pep Squad by engaging us in decisions about how to celebrate our teammates.” Those who nominated her said Jennifer has also generated an increased interest in the Pep Squad and has helped grow the number of teammates on this committee. Jennifer is described by her coworkers as very creative and produces a magical, fun time on wheels while generating smiles and providing a quick break for teammates.”
