Family medicine nurse practitioner Alyse Cannaday joins Pardee BlueMD
UNC Health Pardee continues to expand access to primary care with the addition of board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner Alyse Cannaday, NP-C to Pardee BlueMD - Fleming St. in Hendersonville. Cannaday believes in treating the whole person in a holistic way and meeting people where they are in life. She focuses on wellness, changes to diet, and direction for a healthier lifestyle to address and manage chronic disease.
“I love having the opportunity to meet new people, partner with them in meeting their personal health goals, and share my knowledge and passion for long-term health and wellness,” Cannaday said. “I would like my patients to know that I am here to be a partner and guide in their health journey. I understand the hurdles in life and want to give them the tools to accomplish their goals.” Cannaday, a Mills River native, shared that she is excited to return home and join the practice with the opportunity to serve all ages and backgrounds and looks forward to helping create a comfortable medical home for patients and their families.
Cannaday earned her master of science degree from Duke University and holds board certifications with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
