R. Matthew Wham, MD, joins Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics

Pardee UNC Health Care continues to expand its primary care network with the addition of Dr. Matthew Wham to Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.

R. Matthew Wham, MD, is a board-eligible and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician specializing in joint replacements, meniscus and knee ligament injuries, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder dislocations and replacements.

Dr. Wham earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Emory University. He trained for his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
