Pardee UNC Health Care Welcomes Pulmonologist and Sleep Medicine Physician Dr. Thomas Hooker
Pardee UNC Health Care announced today that Thomas Hooker, D.O., a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician, has joined Carolina Lung and Sleep at Pardee, located at 705-A 6thAvenue West in Hendersonville. Dr. Hooker is fellowship-trained in pulmonary medicine and critical care. He treats respiratory disorders and helps his patients prevent breathing issues and lung disease. Dr. Hooker has a special interest in the management of lung cancer and asthma.
He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; completed his internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio; and completed residency and fellowship training at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
