Pardee UNC Health Care Nurse Marche’ Tucker Named PeriAnesthesia Nurse of the Year                                                                                                              

Pardee UNC Health Care nurse Marche’ Tucker, BSN, RN, has been named PeriAnesthesia Nurse of the Year by the North Carolina Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (NCAPAN). This award recognizes a nurse who demonstrates excellence in the practice, management and teaching of PeriAnesthesia nursing, and promotes high standards in the profession. This is the second consecutive year a Pardee nurse has earned this statewide honor. Tucker recently celebrated her 30th anniversary with Pardee and currently works in the pre-anesthesia testing department with the Pardee Center for Joint Replacement.

“Congratulations to Marche’ on this well-deserved award,” said Denise Lucas, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, vice president of clinical services and chief nursing officer at Pardee. “Her commitment to her patients and colleagues is evident each day and we are honored to have her as part of the Pardee team.”
