Pardee UNC Health Care to Host Free UNC Cancer Network Lunch and Learn Event on Friday, April 27
Nurse practitioner Nicole Sartor will discuss palliative care opportunities
Pardee UNC Health Care will host a free UNC Cancer Network Lunch and Learn videoconference event for anyone in the community interested in learning more about palliative care. The session, "Palliative Care Opportunities," will take place on Friday, April 27 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Pardee’s video conference room, located in the main hospital at 800 N. Justice Street. Nicole Sartor, RN, MSN, C-PNP-PC, a pediatric nurse practitioner at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital, will address common myths of palliative and hospice care. It will also explore multiple points along the health trajectory when a team might consider a palliative care consult.
