Pardee UNC Health Care Names Shaun Clayton, BSN, RN, Emergency Department Director

Pardee UNC Health Care has appointed Shaun Clayton, BSN, RN, director of the emergency department. Previously, Clayton was named interim director in October 2017. She has worked in Pardee’s emergency department since 2007, serving as the clinical manager since 2014.

Clayton earned her associate degree in nursing from Blue Ridge Community College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Carolina University.

“Shaun is truly a leader in our emergency department and is a wonderful asset to our patients and clinical staff,” said Denise Lucas, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, vice president of clinical services and chief nursing officer at Pardee. “She has recruited and retained outstanding team members, and together with our providers, is a large part of why our team is able to offer such high-quality emergency care and patient satisfaction.”
